TERMS OF SERVICE
A clear understanding.
These terms govern the DE‘NOVA website, customer accounts, reservations, payments and confirmed mobile detailing appointments.Effective 27 August 2026 · Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaAgreement and eligibility
These terms form an agreement between the person making the booking and the operator trading as DE‘NOVA Premium Car Detailing. You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, and be authorised to arrange work on the vehicle and at the nominated location. Our Privacy Notice and Service Rules form part of this agreement.
Booking and confirmation
Submitting a request does not by itself create a confirmed appointment. A booking becomes binding only after DE‘NOVA accepts the service, location, date, time, vehicle details and price and issues a confirmation or payment request. We may clarify information, correct an obvious pricing error before acceptance, refuse unsafe work, or propose another arrival window.
Services, estimates and multiple vehicles
The confirmed scope is limited to the inclusions shown for each vehicle in the booking summary. Duration is an estimate, not a guaranteed completion time. Vehicle category, condition, access, travel and agreed additional work may change the price or duration. In a multi-vehicle booking, every vehicle has its own service, price, status, condition record and completion evidence even though payment may be consolidated.
Online payment and appointment deposits
Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit. DE‘NOVA accepts only the online payment methods presented at checkout or in an official secure payment link, including supported online banking and e-wallet methods. Cash is not accepted. A reservation deposit may be required and will be credited toward the confirmed total. An appointment is not treated as paid until the payment provider reports a successful transaction. DE‘NOVA does not request or store your online-banking password, OTP, full card number or security code.
Cancellations, refunds and failed payments
The cancellation schedule in our Service Rules applies. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method and may take 5–14 business days to appear, depending on the bank or payment provider. Provider processing charges may be deducted only where disclosed and lawfully non-refundable. Duplicate or failed payments should be reported promptly with the payment reference. A refund does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Weather, natural events and access interruption
Rain, lightning, flooding, haze, unsafe heat, severe weather, natural disaster, road closure, traffic incident, water or electricity interruption, building restriction or government direction may make travel or detailing unsafe. DE‘NOVA may delay, pause, relocate or reschedule the affected work. If we initiate a weather or safety reschedule, no cancellation fee applies and paid amounts may be moved to the replacement appointment or refunded if a reasonable replacement cannot be agreed. If part of the service has already been completed, we will agree a fair adjusted scope or price before continuing.
Customer access and responsibilities
You must provide a precise address and map pin, lawful access, property-management permission, a safe work area, and truthful disclosure of hazards, sensitive materials, aftermarket parts, repainted panels, coatings, alarms, electrical faults and known damage. Remove valuables and personal documents. Parking, management or access charges are your responsibility unless included in writing.
Condition records, keys and vehicle movement
Before and after photographs, video and a condition checklist may be created as service and damage-prevention records. You authorise reasonable movement, ignition, window, seat, boot and compartment operation required to perform or inspect the service. The vehicle will not be used for an unrelated purpose. Tell us before work begins if it must not be moved or requires special handling.
Results and pre-existing conditions
DE‘NOVA will perform services with reasonable care and skill. Detailing cannot guarantee removal of permanent stains, scratches, corrosion, etched glass, absorbed odours, failing clear coat, deteriorated trim or defects concealed before cleaning. We are not responsible for loss caused by a pre-existing defect, normal wear, inherent material failure or an undisclosed hazard, except where the law provides otherwise.
Damage concerns and remedies
Inspect the vehicle at handover where practical. Report a concern as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours, with the booking reference and clear evidence so that we can preserve records and investigate. Where our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill causes direct damage, we will propose an appropriate remedy, repair, re-performance or compensation. This notice request does not remove rights available under Malaysian consumer law.
Accounts, privacy and communications
Keep account access secure and do not impersonate another person or interfere with bookings. Operational notices may be sent to the Gmail address, WhatsApp number or other contact channel you provide. Location and appointment media are used only as described in our Privacy Notice and your consent choices. Public review photographs are published only when the customer chooses to share them.
Liability and statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999. Subject to those rights, DE‘NOVA is responsible for direct and reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our breach, but not remote or indirect business loss arising from a personal consumer booking.
Complaints, governing law and changes
Contact DE‘NOVA through WhatsApp 014 300 6126 first so we can investigate promptly. These terms are governed by Malaysian law and do not restrict access to lawful consumer redress. We may update these terms prospectively; the version accepted when a booking is confirmed governs that booking unless a change is required by law. If one term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
